July 26th, 2025 marks the 700th Anniversary of the Founding of Mexico-Tenochtitlan, a moment that defined not just a city, but a civilization. After centuries of migration from Aztlan, the Mexica people established their sacred city where the eagle was seen perched atop a cactus in the center of Lake Texcoco. From those waters rose Tenochtitlan—once the largest city in the world and still today, the heart of the continent.
